Nestor Foronda, D.M.D.
Endodontist
Dr. Nestor Foronda was raised in Los Angeles, California. He earned his degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA in 1996. After working in the microbiology department of the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, he matriculated into the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2000 and received his DMD in 2004. He was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship award, the Behrman Scholarship, the Zugsmith Scholarship, and the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award. He then received his certification in the specialty of endodontics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006.
Dr. Foronda has been in private practice providing care in the greater Pittsburgh area since 2006 and is an expert in all facets of endodontics. He stays current with advancements in the field of endodontics and attends seminars and meetings regularly. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Spear Study club.
Dr. Foronda is married to Dr. Amber Foronda and reside in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh with their two sons and dogs.
