Kara Dragone, D.M.D, M.P.H., M.S.
Periodontist
Dr. Kara Dragone was born and raised in Pittsburgh. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at La Roche University in 2009. She then continued on at Duquesne University in a graduate program studying Molecular Genetics. She defended her thesis and graduated with a Master of Science in 2013. Dr. Dragone began her dental school training at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, in Mesa, Arizona, and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Master of Public Health with a dental emphasis degree in 2017 and was recognized with the Senior Student Award of Excellence. Following dental school, Dr. Dragone completed her Certificate in Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and served as Chief Resident the final year of her residency.
Dr. Dragone is board certified in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery. In addition to working at Integrated Periodontics she currently works part-time as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Dragone is married to Soleman Haque, D.M.D, who is a general dentist in the Pittsburgh area. They currently reside in North Hills with their dog Mocha.
